BOTOX® Cosmetics for Softer Lines in Studio City and Banning, CA
Maybe you’ve started noticing the lines between your brows in photos, or the creases across your forehead seem to stick around longer than they used to. You’ve thought about BOTOX®, but you don’t want to lose the expressions that make you look like you.
At our Studio City and Banning, CA, locations, we take the time to see how your face naturally moves before treating forehead lines, frown lines, or crow’s feet. The goal is softer lines, not a frozen look. And with BOTOX® priced by the area instead of the unit, you’ll know what you’re paying for upfront.

What BOTOX® Does for Frown Lines, Forehead Lines, and Crow’s Feet
You may know these moments:
- Lines that show every time you frown, squint, or raise your brows
- Being asked if you’re tired, or cross, when you feel fine
- A past result you didn’t like, so you nearly gave up on BOTOX®
BOTOX® is a prescription medicine, a botulinum toxin, injected into the muscles that crease your skin.
It blocks the nerve signal that tells a muscle to tighten, so the muscle relaxes for a while and the lines it creases look softer. The effect wears off as the nerve makes new connections, which is why people come back.
It isn’t a filler; our dermal filler treatments work differently.
If you’re weighing BOTOX®, here’s what it does:
Softer frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet, for a while, when they’re moderate to severe
Working within days and lasting months, building through the first week
Movement that still looks like you: inject just enough to relax each muscle, and natural, refreshed results are our goal too
Straight back to your day: most people return to work and everyday activities right after treatment. We’ll go over a few simple aftercare steps for the first 24 hours.
BOTOX® Prices by Area in Studio City and Banning
Here, you pay for the area you want softer, not for a count of units.
We treat your areas of concern instead of tallying units, because we care about your results and about you coming back, not just one treatment. Shawn puts it plainly: “I’ve never made decisions based upon money.”
Your plan comes down to which areas you’d like softer. Your dose is set at your assessment, within that area’s limit, and pricing may vary with your treatment plan and goals.
BOTOX® isn’t FDA-approved for the lower face, so lower-face treatment, on its own or within the full-face price, is off-label.
Your consultation is free, in person or by video call, and it’s where you get your own plan. You can also see all our treatment prices.

What BOTOX® Is Approved For, and Our Other Brands
BOTOX® Cosmetic is approved for four kinds of lines in adults, each when it’s moderate to severe:
- Frown lines between the brows
- Forehead lines, treated together with frown lines
- Crow’s feet at the outer corners of the eyes
- Vertical bands on the neck
All four are neuromodulators, or wrinkle relaxers, and they work the same basic way. Each is a separately approved medicine, though, and units never convert from one brand to another.
Which one suits you is something we decide together at your visit. Ask which brand fits you.
We also offer three other brands, each FDA-approved for moderate to severe lines in adults:
Approved for frown lines, in adults under 65
approved for three upper-face lines, frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet
A BOTOX® Appointment in Studio City and Banning, Step by Step
Here’s how a visit goes at our Studio City or Banning office.
It starts with a booking or a call. Want to talk first? Your consultation is free, in person or by video.
Afterward, most people go straight back to their day. For the first 24 hours, don’t rub the treated areas and skip strenuous workouts.
Next, a full facial assessment. We look at how your upper and lower face move, and ask what you want, before planning anything.
Over the following week, the effect builds as the muscles relax.
Then come a few small injections into the muscle. Most people describe each one as a pinch, by the maker’s account.
And we stay in touch. The team checks in after your visit, without you having to ask.

Questions About BOTOX® Before You Book
How many units of BOTOX® will I need?
Your BOTOX® dose is set at your assessment, by the areas you want softer. For reference, BOTOX®’s label lists doses of 20 units for frown lines, 24 for crow’s feet, and 40 for forehead lines with frown lines. Those are the label’s doses, not yours. BOTOX® units also can’t be compared with or converted into another brand’s, and here you pay by the area.
Does getting BOTOX® hurt?
Getting BOTOX® means a few small injections into the muscle, and most people describe each one as a pinch. Afterward, you may have some soreness, swelling, or a small bruise where the needle went in, and a bruise lasts about a week.
What should I avoid after BOTOX®?
Most people go straight back to their day after BOTOX®. For the rest of that day, don’t rub or massage the spots, put makeup on without pressing it in, and wait 24 hours before exercise, such as lifting or running. If weakness, vision changes, or dizziness show up, don’t drive or do anything risky.
Is there a right age to start BOTOX®?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is approved for adults whose lines are already moderate to severe, and it isn’t recommended under 18. Using it to prevent lines that aren’t there yet isn’t an approved use. In the studies, people 65 and older seemed to respond less often, so whether BOTOX® suits you is part of your assessment.
Does BOTOX® work as well for men?
BOTOX® is approved for adults, men and women alike. In an exploratory look at the frown-line studies, more women than men responded at day 30: 85% of 334 women, against 59% of 71 men. Most people studied were women. The label’s doses are the same for both, and a man’s dose is set at his visit.
How much does BOTOX® cost?
At Beyond The Needle, BOTOX® is priced by the area: $950 for the full face, up to 100 units; $495 for the upper face, up to 50 units; and $495 for the lower face, up to 50 units. Or you can pay $11 a unit. Consultations are free, and health insurance usually doesn’t pay for cosmetic treatments.
What happens if I stop getting BOTOX®?
If you stop getting BOTOX®, the effect wears off. The nerve makes new connections, and the muscle moves as it did before, over about three to four months for frown lines. That’s why people who want to keep the effect come back, no sooner than every three months.
